Blogging Poetry in the Time of Corona

I was in Costa Rica, a tropical paradise, until early March.  When I came home, I had to shelter in because of the virus.  I have been trying to dwell on what I have rather than what I don’t, like beautiful poetry.  Here are some samples:

“In the sea of dreams the folk of summer loll about the boats drawn up along the beach…” Donald Wheelock

“Walking to the sea, across the prairie It’s now November everythings born already.” Pablo Neruda

“Climbing the scales three octaves at a time,  I search for you among the high notes…” Dana Gioia

What poetry do you like?
